In 2011, The Center for Languages and Cultures was created with the mission to be a cross cultural bridge with the world for our students and community at Â鶹´«Ã½ÍŶÓ. Our goals are:
- To provide a place where the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó community (faculty, staff, students, village residents) may gather to learn about languages and cultures from around the world.
- To establish a cross-cultural bridge between communities in order to develop empathy for other cultures.
- To understand past and present cultural and linguistic diversity in order to create a better future.
- To enhance students’ professional competencies by offering opportunities to be a language tutor to other Â鶹´«Ã½ÍÅ¶Ó students.
In addition to offering free language tutoring to our students, the CLC organizes fun and informational activities to practice your skills. Please join us for:
